Universal Testing Systems

The electromechanical universal testing equipment of the Instron® 3400 and 6800 Series can perform tensile, compression, bend, peel, rip, friction, and shear tests, among other capabilities. Materials, components, and final products can all be put through the rigors of ASTM and ISO testing with the help of these equipment.

The force capacity of the frames in the Industrial Series from Instron ranges from 300 kN to 2000 kN, and the series comprises both single and dual test spaces.

You can extend the life of your testing system by retrofitting your Instron universal testing machines from the 3400 and 6800 Series with the most up-to-date control electronics and software in order to reduce the risk of unscheduled downtime and increase the lifespan of your testing apparatus. The 5900 Series of system retrofits are designed to extend the life of your legacy static hydraulic universal testing systems by offering crucial updates. This can be done by extending the life of your heritage testing equipment. The replacement of obsolete components with contemporary hardware, software, and electronics from the 5900 Series test systems is the goal of the retrofit, which aims to reduce the amount of risk associated with your testing procedure.

Because it is possible to conduct simultaneous and independent tests on a single load frame for as many as five (5) different specimens at the same time, the throughput of the 6800 Series Multi-Station System, which is a component of a larger system, can be improved. This allows the throughput of the larger system to be enhanced.
