Bioburden Reduction Filters With High Flow Rates and Low Extractables Suitable for Viscous Fluids are offered in a range of scalable formats with 0.45 µm removal rating and incorporate a serial layer (0.65/0.45 µm) membrane construction. This unique construction ensures high flow rates and high throughputs compared with other 0.45 µm filters. These filters are validated for removal of Serratia marcescens with a typical titer reduction (TR) of > 106. Bioburden reduction filters are also available in junio style single-use filter cartridges for use with in-line stainless steel filter housings and they are designed for processing of volumes of material (30 L to 500 L) in a small-to-mid-size manufacturing environment.
