Automated Testing Systems

The CT6 cobot testing system automates biomedical device and component testing. This system combines a collaborative robot with a 6800 or 5900 Series universal testing system to boost efficiency in small to mid-sized testing labs that need flexibility in their testing systems. The CT6 handles medicine delivery, sample collection, and wound closure products.

The AT2 Automated XY Stage can be placed on any new or existing 6800 or 5900 Series universal testing equipment to automate compression, tensile, and flexure testing of devices or components with multiple or repeating test points. The biomedical and electronics industries use these systems to evaluate many materials, devices, and components.

The Instron TestMaster AT3 and AT3+ automated testing systems use a unique design to automatically test tensile, compression, and/or flexural properties of a wide range of plastics, thin films, elastomers, foils, foam, and other materials. This system meets the testing needs of several different standards, such as ASTM D638, ASTM D790, ISO 527, and ISO 178. It has many of the same benefits as our robotic AT6 systems, but it takes up less space.

The Instron AT6 Automated Testing System has a unique design that makes it possible for metals, plastics, thin films, components, elastomers, sutures, and composites to be tested automatically for tensile and/or bending strength. This system meets ISO and ASTM standards for a wide range of materials and has a flexible platform that can offer high throughput and repeatable results for a wide range of testing needs.

The Instron Automated XY Stage for the ElectroPuls test device is made for durability testing that needs to be performed repeatedly in different places. It is easy to change to fit many different testing situations with many different specimens, devices, and parts, such as electronic devices, touch-sensitive panels, keyboards, performance footwear, and clothing.

The 6800 Series Multi-Station System has a higher output because it can test up to five different samples at the same time, independently, using just one load frame. This method works best when test times are stretched out because of a lot of elongation or slow test speeds. This method will help labs keep up with the high throughput needs of production lines that move quickly or make many things at once.
