HDT & Vicat

The HDT Vicat testing machines included in the Instron HV Series provide you with an improved user experience in addition to great productivity. The HDT and Vicat testers that we provide, along with Bluehill® HV Software, enable the testing of materials much easier, more insightful, and more secure.

The HDT and Vicat are subjected to testing at temperatures as high as 500 degrees Celsius using the Instron CEAST HV500. These tests are performed for the purpose of quality control as well as research involving techno-polymers at high temperatures.
