Instron 5900 Series System Retrofits
The lifespan of your older static hydraulic universal testing systems may be significantly extended with the help of a 5900 Series system retrofit, which is created by incorporating significant improvements. By replacing outdated components with brand-new hardware, software, and electronics derived from the 5900 Series test systems, the purpose of the update is to reduce the amount of risk inherent in the testing process.
Every System Upgrade Includes:
- 5900 Series Control Electronics
- Data collection rates of up to 1,000 Hz
- Extension, load, stress and strain rate test control
- Up to 11 input channels when configured
- Automatic recognition and calibration of system transducers
- Compatible with latest Instron accessories including video and automatic extensometers
- Analog output and optional digital input/output
Upgraded Ergonomic Handset
A precision position adjustment thumbwheel with tactile feedback is available for applications that demand rigorous testing.
A wide range of user-defined commands can be initiated by pressing any of the two "Soft Key" buttons. Since the Soft Keys are established separately for each process, they can be tailored to each examination.
