The PTWS 1420 is a 14+2-position, “dual drive” compact tablet dissolution testing instrument for solid dosage forms as described in USP chapter <711/724> and EP section<2.9.3/4> as well as the BP, DAB and Japanese Pharmacopeia section <15>. The instrument features 14 testing positions and includes two additional standard size vessels for media refilling and reference standard media. PTWS 1420 features independent stirrer speed control for the left and right half of stirrers.

PTWS 120D 6-Station Tablet Dissolution Testing Instrument

The PTWS 120D is a 6 position, single drive compact tablet dissolution testing instrument for solid dosage forms as described in USP chapter <711/724> and EP section<2.9.3/4> as well as the DAB and Japanese Pharmacopeia section <15>.

PTWS 120S USP/EP Tablet Dissolution Testing Instrument

The PTWS 120S is a 6-position, multiple drive, compact tablet dissolution testing instrument for solid dosage forms as described in USP chapter <711/724> and EP section <2.9.3/4> as well as the BP, DAB and Japanese Pharmacopeia section <15>. Its design for manual operation and ease of use.

PTWS 820-MA

Pharma Test has designed the automated media change station PTWS 820-MA which can pre-heat and dose 250ml of concentrated buffer very quickly and simultaneously to the vessels of the PTWS 820D. A heated waterbath is used to pre-heat the concentrated buffer solutions in individual glass vessels. The correct temperature is important, as the amount of liquid added to the vessel is about 250ml. The temperature in the test vessels has to stay within the USP range of 37+/-0.5°C at all times. Therefore the added media should be heated up to 37 °C as well, as the addition of cold media would signifcantly affect the temperature in the test vessels. This way the test can continue immediately as required by USP, CP and EP. It is also possible to operate the whole system via the WinDiss ARGUS dissolution software.

PTWS 820D USP/EP Tablet Dissolution Testing Instrument

The PTWS 820D is an 8-position, single drive compact tablet dissolution testing instrument for solid dosage forms as described in USP chapter <711/724> and EP section <2.9.3/4> as well as the DAB and Japanese Pharmacopeia section <15>.

PTWS 620 USP/EP Tablet Dissolution Testing Instrument

The PTWS 620 is a 6 + 2 position, single drive tablet dissolution testing instrument for solid dosage forms as described in USP chapter <711/724> and EP section<2.9.3/4> as well as the DAB/BP and Japanese Pharmacopeia section <15>. The USP monograph <1092/2.4.2> lists visual observation of the dissolution behavior as essential for identifying variables in the formulation or manufacturing process. The six vessels in the front row of PTWS 620 offer optimal visibility of the samples.

PTWS 1220 6+6 USP/EP Tablet Dissolution Testing Instrument

The PTWS 1220 is a 6+6 position, single drive tablet dissolution testing instrument for solid dosage forms as described in USP chapter <711/724> and EP section<2.9.3/4> as well as the DAB/BP and Japanese Pharmacopeia section <15>. The instrument features two additional vessels (approx. 250ml) for media refilling and reference standard media. The PTWS 1220 is the ideal choice for Biowaiver studies and dissolution method development.

PTWS D620 6+6 “Dual Drive” USP/EP Tablet Dissolution Testing Instrument

The PTWS D620 is a “Dual Drive” 6+6 position, single drive tablet dissolution testing instrument for solid dosage forms as described in USP chapter <711/724> and EP section<2.9.3/4> as well as the DAB/BP and Japanese Pharmacopeia section <15>. The instrument features two additional vessels (approx. 250ml) for media refilling and reference standard media. PTWS D620 features independent stirrer speed control for the front and back row of stirrers.

PT-DT70 Low-Head Tablet Dissolution Test Apparatus

The PT-DT70 is the low head flip back dissolution testing instrument from Pharma Test. It provides a spacen saving, low cost entry into dissolution testing. Whether for a new laboratory or to meet tough budget requirements, the PT-DT70 offers a lot of instrument for a comparatively modest cost. The ideal instrument for all USP <711/724> and EP <2.9.3/4> applications for which automated and manual operation is required.

PTWS 4000 6 + 2 Dissolution Tester

PTWS 4000 is the only tablet dissolution testing instrument available to support vessel sizes up to 4 liters for pool test applications of highly concentrated samples. PTWS 4000 contains six stirred glass vessels with a volume of approx. 4 liters each in a single row in the front side of the instrument. Furthermore, it offers two additional, unstirred 1 liter vessels to take a blank and/or a reference standard in a second row on the back side of the instrument. PTWS 4000 is fully compliant to the current USP <711/724> and EP <2.9.3/4> pharmacopeia.

PT-DR Dispersion Releaser – Release Apparatus for Nano- and Microformulations

The Dispersion Releaser PT-DR is a dialysis-based apparatus for the release testing of nanomedicines, microformulations and semi-solid dosage forms within a standard dissolution tester. It is composed of a sample holder cell serving as the donor compartment for dispersed dosage forms. A dialysis membrane is disposed around this housing. This donor chamber is agitated by a paddle stirrer that is connected to the USP.
