Microbial Air Sampler: MiniCapt® Mobile

The MiniCapt® Mobile Microbial Air Sampler from Particle Measuring Systems (PMS) is an innovative, light and mobile viable sampler. It simplifies the job of microbial air sampling by applying modern data management capabilities that save time and reduce operator error in air sampling data.

The MiniCapt Mobile active air sampler makes the job easier by incorporating a capacitive and sliding touchscreen, allowing easy use with gloves without the need for a stylus. Featuring NEW Antibacterial housing reduces cross contamination from monitoring activities, advanced external materials and touchscreen design decrease bacterial deposits and biofilm formation by >95%, reduced operator errors with secure data management and easy to use touch screen, filtered exhaust eliminates introduction of contamination from unit, impactor design allows for false positive identification and ISO 14698:2003 compliant.

Remote Air Sampler: MiniCapt®

Ideally suited for aseptic environments as part of a facility monitoring system, the MiniCapt® Remote Microbial Air Sampler from Particle Measuring Systems (PMS) simplifies the job of microbial air sampling by applying modern data management capabilities that save time and reduce operator error in air sampling data. The MiniCapt Viable Microbial Sampler uses a unique HEPA-filtered exhaust so it doesn’t contaminate the cleanroom. With a small footprint, the MiniCapt Microbial Sampler can operate virtually anywhere, without a house vacuum. Because the MiniCapt Microbial Sampler is software automated, you don’t have to gown up to control it. The pump won’t contaminate your environment, so you can set it up to monitor particles and microbials in the same location–and then forget about it. It’s also easy to clean, works with all Particle Measuring Systems’ software.


Microbial Monitor: BioCapt® Single-Use

The BioCapt Single-Use helps minimize microbial false positives in monitored clean areas by reducing contamination from the handling of agar settle plates, resulting in a decrease in investigations and an increase in productivity. Additionally, many costly and time consuming sterilization steps, such as autoclaving, disinfecting, handling and logistics are eliminated. This innovative approach to viable microbial air sampling and monitoring builds on the collection efficiencies of the BioCapt stainless steel viable impactor, while also virtually eliminating false positives from handling through specialized packaging and single-use application.

The BioCapt Microbial Impactor (Single-Use) achieves sampling with minimal air disruption and can be used to sample efficiently from 25 to 50 L/min (LPM) to suit both routine monitoring and fast sampling needs. The 25 LPM device continues to recover microorganisms under stressed conditions after two hours of continuous air sampling, thereby reducing the number of plate changes required for continuous air sampling. Viable Cleanroom Monitor: BioCapt® Impactor

The BioCapt® Microbial Impactor by Particle Measuring Systems (PMS) enables the capture of microbiologically viable particulates on a suitable media surface for later incubation and enumeration. With precision-cut slits to ensure laminar flow, the BioCapt Viable Cleanroom Monitor maximizes collection efficiencies for viable particles in accordance with ISO 14698-1. The 25 L/min flow rate ensures sample volume is collected slowly enough to enable sampling during the maximum amount of process time while avoiding desiccation of the collection medium. Flow visualization studies prove that the BioCapt viable cleanroom monitor does not interfere with the laminar flow in the manufacturing environment ensuring the safety of the drug. Biological efficiency is guaranteed by ensuring optimal impaction velocity and giving statistical control over false-positive results.
