PT-DDS4

The new improved PT-DDS4 features a new tank design with a sloped bottom instead of a flat one to simplify the emptying of the device for cleaning without leaving any remaining liquid in the tank. The pipe outlet is now longer and curved for the same reason as well. The new tank still has the ability to hold enough medium for at least two 12-position dissolution testing systems. The new system now also includes more sturdy and bigger wheels to move the instrument from one working space to the next – whatever the floor condition might be.

All improvements for the PT-DDS4 Media Preparation and Degassing System

1. Bigger, sturdier wheels for easy maneuvering: The new instrument is based on bigger, sturdier wheels which make it easier to move the instrument around – whatever the floor condition may be. It also comes with brakes like the old instrument.
2. New tank design: The new PT-DDS4 features a new tank design with a sloping instead of a flat bottom to simplify the emptying of the device for cleaning. Without leaving any residue behind that would be difficult to remove. This change came thanks to customer feedback who had difficulties to remove all of the medium out of the tank. The tank holds enough medium for at least two 12-position dissolution testers or enough for 24 vessels with one de-aeration cycle.
3. Enhanced pipe outlet: The pipe outlet is now longer and curved. This change was also done so it would be easy to drain all the media from the vessel leaving no residues.

The PT-DDS4 is the reliable and handy lab companion for that. It is also the one and only media preparation instrument with standard gravimetric dosing for precise filling volumes at all working temperature – which is the preferred measurement by the USP for the Procedure for Mechanical Calibration and Performance Verification: “A more accurate and temperature independent measure of the medium volume is through weight”
